Oppie Stoep hosts private functions on the dates below and is closed to the public on those days. On Saturday 12 December the Christmas Market takes over — vendors setting up stalls.

Oppie Stoep is the relaxed side of eating at Yellowstone — unhurried, outside and easy.

At the centre of it is the mosaic wood-fired oven, lit and burning through service.

Hot from the oven.
Cold in the glass.

Baked plates come up hot and cheesy, set down on the wooden board for the whole table to dig into.

Alongside them, long iced glasses on the shaded tables — made slowly and drunk cold.
