Find your path
Hiking, trail running and mountain biking through the hills of Yellowstone.

The trails
Time outside, close to town
Whether you're looking for an outdoor adventure, a morning walk, a run or a ride, Yellowstone's marked trails wind through golden grassland and acacia hills just minutes from Windhoek.
Routes are named after the game you might spot along the way — Gemsbok, Wildebees, Eland and Kudu — with distance markers every 2.5 km to keep you oriented.

Routes & difficulty
Pick your route
Every route is colour-coded by difficulty — easy, moderate and difficult — and the trailhead map shows the full network, from gentle loops past the Watertank and Thorn Tree to longer climbs along the Avis River.
Routes from 2.5 km upwards suit everyone from families with prams to trail runners and mountain bikers looking for a workout.
